Adrian McCurry - Managing Director

A founding Director in 1990 and Managing Director since 1991 following a career in the Royal Navy and in Human Resources Management.  Adrian was a serving Officer in the Royal Navy for ten years which provided him with engineering qualifications and hands-on operational experience of engineering products, together with the highest standards of man-management skills.  Since retiring from the Navy in 1981, his civilian career progressed in HR with experience gained in the process, automotive, heavy engineering and defence industries.

Paul Devlin BSc, CIPD - Director

Joined The Recruit Business in 1991 following Human Resources experience in the public and private sectors.  A graduate in psychology specialising in HR at a post-graduate level, he has obtained experience in the recruitment of staff at all levels within the Health Service, Automotive and Manufacturing industries.  This has covered permanent, contract and international recruitment.

Barbara Weekes - Senior Consultant

Barbara started her career in a Glasgow based engineering company, working in Production Control.  She decided to return to education as a Mature Student and gained qualifications in HR Management in 1977.  She joined a large Marine Engineering Consultancy as a Cost and Contract Controller working on Research and Development contracts for MoD.(N).  She relocated to Kent and in 1983 and took her first position as a Recruitment Consultant.  The company was taken over by the Blue Arrow Group and as result of their training policies she was quickly promoted to Branch Manager, responsible for Industrial and Technical Recruitment.  She gained further promotion to Area Manager, responsible for 5 branches in the Kent area.  She joined The Recruit Business in 1995 and has predominantly worked on the supply of Contract and Permanent Engineering Staff.  In 2003 she relocated to the Peterborough area and has continued working for the company mainly on the supply of Lift and Escalator Personnel and Engineering Surveyors for the Insurance industry.
